Howard Stringer, former chief executive of Sony, is selling his longtime apartment on New York’s Fifth Avenue for $21 million.
A onetime journalist and television producer who made his name at Sony by turning around its U.S. movie and music businesses, Mr. Stringer retired as chairman in 2013 after leaving the role of CEO the previous year. He said he and his wife are selling because she wants to move back to England, from which they moved in the 1960s. They plan to live on a property they own in the Oxfordshire countryside.
